The Natural History of many curious and uncommon Zoophytes, collected from various parts of the Globe. Systematically arranged and described by the late Daniel Solander. Echinophyllia aspera (Ellis & Solander, 1788) flat lettuce coral Native range | All suitable habitat | Point map | Year 2100: This map was computer-generated and Echinophyllia aspera Species: Lobophylliidae Family: 72.0 - 78.0 F 22.2 - 25.6 C Temperature: dKN 8.00 - 12.00 Alkalinity: 8.10 - 8.40 pH Range: sg 1.023 - 1.025 Specific Gravity: n/a n/a Minimum Tank Size: Moderate Care Level: Semi-aggressive Temperament: Yes Reef Compatible: Low to Moderate Lighting: Bottom to Middle Placement: Medium Waterflow: The type species of Echinophyllia, Echinophyllia aspera, has overall smaller and more evenly sized corallites than Echinophyllia tarae sp. n. Although a central corallite can be recognized in small colonies of Echinophyllia aspera ( Veron and Pichon 1980 ), this is smaller than in the new species and does not have its very thickened septa and pronounced crown of paliform lobes. Its species identification was changed on Feb 11th 2003 to Echinophyllia aspera. Please note - This coral was retired on March 2008 because reservation demand had dropped off significantly and we also had lost our seed section.

Echinophyllia aspera moon dust

We found an amazing solid red Echinophyllia aspera colony at Jeffs. It had survived the trip from Tonga very well. Echinophyllia is your everyday chalice, they usually have short tentacles, if you put them in a spot where there is a lot of flow, the feeders will not come out. However, if you spot feed them, they will get used to have their tentacles out in the day.

Its species identification was changed on Feb 11th 2003 to Echinophyllia aspera. There are also lots of better colored Echinophyllia corals available now. This was however one of the first.

The data give the examples of a rather strong interaction with some shock-like signatures. Observations from the Phobos 2 spacecraft suggest that gas/dust tori/rings reside along the Mars moon orbits. The tori are partially immersed in the subsonic The six species sampled were Echinophyllia aspera , Favites abdita , F. chinensis , Merulina ampliata, M. scabricula and Platygyra pini . Knowing that the mass of the entire Moon is $7.3 \cdot 10^{22}kg$, if we assume a mere 5% of lunar material ultimately falls to Earth (the book states that the majority of the moon stays in orbit and will eventually form a ring around the Earth, far into the future), that gives us $3.7 \cdot 10^{21}kg$ of meteors The plasma and magnetic-field effects in the neighbourhood of orbits of Phobos and Deimos are analysed. The distinct disturbances in plasma parameters and in the magnetic field are clearly manifested.
