The TiBase and Scanbody were placed and full seat was determined by radiograph. The crown was designed single unit (un-split) screw retrievable, using the CEREC Chairside software and milled out of an e.max abutment block. Always verify fit of crown (or abutment) to TiBase prior to firing.

Cementation and Bonding of Zirconia Restorations. Markus B. Blatz, DMD, PhD; Julian Conejo, DDS, MSc. As zirconia is progressively considered the material of choice for indirect all-ceramic restorations, the question of how to cement and bond zirconia becomes increasingly important.

For placement, the TiBase and coping are cemented together extraorally and then torqued to the implant intraorally. The crown is then cemented on top of the coping intraorally. Photo Courtesy of Dr. Daniel Vasquez This photo shows a CAD hybrid abutment crown that has the crown - apply material in crown put on prep light pressure material flows - light cure for 1 sec. from all sides then remove excess and light cure for 30 sec from each side 3. inLab work (Emax, Inceram etc.) - go for either Multilink or Rely-X Unicem hope this helps Alessandro Devigus This is a video demonstrating the cementation of a zirconia implant crown to a DESS angebase abutment, using monobond plus and relyx unicem 2.

Q I’ve heard various opinions on the best cements and cementing techniques to use with the numerous all-ceramic restorations now being promoted. Some are saying to bond every type of all-ceramic restoration, and others are using popular resin-modified glass ionomers or other cements. 2017-09-21 Self curing Multilink Hybrid Abutment was specially developed for the cementation of lithium disilicate glass ceramic onto titanium bases (IPS e.max hybrid abutments and IPS e.max hybrid abutment crowns). Images & Videos. It is a $5.00 solution for cementing the TiBase to either the abutment or the hybrid abutment crown and allowing easy clean up. Enjoy!

Revision emax crowns, first crowns were turning blue due to micro-leakage, these ones that were just cemented are starting to turn gray. The cement used was called Block-out. I have researched all night about different cements on Emax crowns and not one site recommends block-out which is recommended particularly for lumineers.
